About UKCLIF
Our mission is to improve the quality of life of patients with liver cirrhosis and chronic liver failure.
We are an inclusive network, with representation from across the UK and from diverse backgrounds. We are always keen to expand our network across the UK; please join our network if you share our mission and values.
UK-CLIF will host in-person and online events throughout the year, for members to discuss ongoing research, share ideas and influence the direction of future work. Everyone has the opportunity to have a say – we have members from patients, carers, nursing, scientific, industry and medical backgrounds.
Our aim is to make liver research easier to access and more representative in the UK. This will improve relevant outcomes for patients with cirrhosis and chronic liver failure.
Whether you are a patient, a carer or an investigator, by joining our network, you will be able to:
- Access resources for ethics submissions, protocol design or PPI input for your project
- Gain free registration to UK-CLIF meetings and conferences
- Apply for mentorship from experienced investigators in the network, to guide set-up of studies and grant applications
- Have your say in the design and outcomes for clinical research in cirrhosis and liver failure in the UK
